Stable stacks and damaged units
Remove severely damaged units from stable stacks and follow site procedures. Stack on a level surface, avoid leaning columns, and account for wind or impact exposure.
Aisles and equipment clearance
Keep equipment paths, exits, fire equipment, and required clearances open. A planning footprint does not determine the aisle width your operation needs.
Indoor and outdoor exposure
Weather can change wood moisture, metal corrosion, plastic behavior, contamination risk, and stack stability. Match storage protection to the pallet and intended use.
Coordinate with your fire and safety requirements
Pallet storage can affect fire load and suppression requirements. Coordinate quantities, locations, pile dimensions, and clearances with your facility safety plan and local requirements.
